“Daniel has a keen insight into – and passion for – music, which lend to his interpretations a depth and commitment that is quite uncommon...”
- Gil Sullivan

The Florence Symphony Orchestra presents Daniel Adam Maltz, an Israeli-American concert pianist based in Vienna, Austria. He is performing in Florence shortly before his Carnegie Hall debut.

After graduating from the prestigious South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, Daniel explored his love of the First Viennese School through private study with internationally-renowned Robert Lehrbaumer in Vienna, Mozart specialist Gil Sullivan in Australia, and Beethoven authority John O’Conor in the United States.

Daniel’s repertoire demonstrates a deep appreciation of the Romantic era as well, especially the works of Schubert, Chopin, and Schumann.

“Through his performances, he is capable to serve art and to share with his audience the experience celebrating in a ‘temple of music.’”
– Robert Lehrbaumer
