The Florence Symphony Orchestra

The Florence Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Directors is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director of the Florence (S.C.) Symphony Orchestra. The position is a full-time post with flexible hours. Ideal candidates should have experience with the arts and/or non-profit organizations and a good track record in administration, budget management, event planning, public relations, marketing and fundraising. Computer proficiency, website publishing, social media and other related skills are a plus. Direct experience with a symphony, and/or musical abilities is preferred. Candidates from both inside and outside the Florence/Pee Dee area are sought, but a working knowledge of the area and its people would be beneficial.
