Originally from Great Britain, Lindsey has a diverse career that has spanned three continents. She has performed not only in opera, but in recital oratorio and musical theatre. She studied voice at The Guildhall School of Music in London. Whilst a student she sang with The Bach choir at Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer’s wedding. She made her professional debut in London singing “Mary” in Elgar’s “The Kingdom”.

Lindsey has sung with many orchestras across the United States, including The Kansas City Symphony, The St. Louis Philharmonic, The Tulsa Symphony, The Signature Symphony, and The Asheville Symphony to name a few.

Lindsey has also appeared on stages across the Midwest, including Quality Hill Playhouse, The American Heartland Theatre, The Missouri Rep, The MUNY, STAGES St. Louis, Starlight Theatre, American Theatre Company, LOOK, Union Avenue Opera, and The Kansas City Lyric Opera. Additionally, she worked in the Tony award winning,”Lost Colony” in NC (The longest running outdoor drama in the US) for two seasons.

Recent engagements include Mahler’s Symphony no 2 ,“ The Resurrection”, with the Signature Symphony, The “Defiant” Requiem (Verdi) Music at 101, Summer Pops with the St. Louis Philharmonic, and All Puccini All the Time!

Lindsey is thrilled to be returning to Florence for the third time, having previously performed Strauss’ Four Last Songs and Four Songs for Soprano by Oswaldo Golijov.
