The 3rd Annual FSO Young Artist Concerto Competition

Applications with a CD of performance must be received by January 3, 2014. Finalist will be selected and notified immediately thereafter. Finalist will be assigned a time to perform before a panel of judges on February 1, 2014.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all violin students enrolled in grades 9-12 who have a home address within Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Lee, Marion and Marlboro counties.
Rules
Prizewinners will be invited to perform the composition played at the audition, accompanied by the Florence Symphony Orchestra at the April 2014 concert. Audition pieces must be performed from memory. The contestant must provide an accompanist and two copies of the music for the judges. The decision of the judges is final.

A non-refundable fee of $25 must be included with each application. Checks should be made payable to: Florence Symphony Orchestra. This form may be duplicated as needed. Please provide a CD of your playing.
